Tackling trans-border data challenges for positive change. #DataFlow #TransBorder #Collaboration #GIS
Having come across Peace Accelerators, Stanford’s Peace Innovation Lab and Paris Peace Forum in 2018, Talent Hack is committed to help unite and align the international peace movement through open source.
Blockchain for Peace is a global community resource centre for social entrepreneurs, researchers, and impact investors focused on blockchain.
Our Blockchain for Peace hackathon is the opportunity to mobilize collective intelligence in the fields of computer, economics or social sciences around global governance and data transparency issues.
Use your creativity and skill to devise, strengthen and improve forward-looking approaches to global governance by designing and encouraging free, open source technology to allow the creation and management of decentralized governance models.
Global Information Systems’ works across national borders, facilitates communication between headquarters and subsidiaries in other countries, incorporates all the technologies and applications found in a typical information system, stores/manipulates/transmits data across cultural and geographic boundaries.
We are promoting decentralized co-ordination of architecture for data, standardization within departments, ability to communicate these standards to other departments, collaboration systems and technologies that support informal communication and socialization.
We are looking for experts, engineers, programmers and designers interested in global governance and data transparency to bring a concrete expertise, to challenge their ideas with international experts and to present their prototype in front of a panel of MP’s, industry leaders and potential partners or funders.

For Companies – Why Should You Attend?
In keeping with the spirit of the time, the demand for professionals with excellent digital skills, industry-relevant aptitude, business-critical soft-skills, and core behavioral competencies such as collaboration, communication, openness to diversity, ethical propensity, and problem solving is at its peak. How, then, to identify, onboard, and retain the perfect talent?
Watch them in action in a super competitive and collaborative setting!
Hackathon hits multiple marks at once.
This innovative setting delivers greater insights to companies that are recruiting regarding the behavioral performance, cultural fitness, and practical skills of candidates in real-time, something that would not be possible in a traditional interview setting.
Furthermore, the hackathon setup enables organisations to set certain expectations for the talent being examined while ascertaining whether their skills align with the internship/job roles available.
A number of our existing employees have adopted hackathons as their setup-of-choice for driving recruitment and benefitted massively from the superior talent discovered at our events.
What’s in it for you?
- Crowd-source ideas on product innovation
- Create a strong employer brand
- Hire fresh talent – all at the same time!
